Dear Patients and Medico-legal clients,
In response to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus I have implemented the following measures for my practice, taking into account the Australian and Victorian Governments' advice.
I am continuing to conduct medico-legal assessments of children and young people following motor vehicle accidents or under the Wrongs Act, and am primarily working via videolink/telehealth.
Young children, those under 10 years, and families requiring the help of an interpreter are preferably seen face to face.
I am continuing to conduct assessments subject to the following conditions:
- Most assessments will be conducted by videolink using ZOOM, SKYPE, FaceTime or other platforms
- Appointments must be requested by email to [email protected]
- Medico-legal assessments can be conducted for clients in any Australian state or territory
- Medico-legal assessments do not attract a Medicare rebate and the fees are as set out on the 'Fees' page of this website
- A cancellation fee will be charged if appointments are cancelled with less than ten working days' notice
- Reports will be forwarded to solicitors/TAC electronically once accounts have been paid in full
See 'Contact Us' page for ways of making contact. Please do not phone or send correspondence to the Millswyn Clinic as the clinic is now closed permanently.
